Amina didn’t say a word, perhaps, she would have, but then they saw Aisha walking towards their cage, as though, in a haste. They were surprised to see hera. They stood up.
“Let us quickly go…” Aisha said as she unlocked the cage from the outside,
“I have betrayed my former master for you, my Queen.”
She said and turned trying to lead them through the path.
Amina thanked her. But Aisha lied. She didn’t have a former master. The guards were not by the cage, they had gone to have their meal at the middle of their camp. It was a big meat they caught. They thought the prisoners couldn’t escape as they were taken very far from Idah where no one could locate. There was just one key to the cage and the commander had it by his side. They sang and danced. Meanwhile, the prisoners were escaping.
